Form 1040 tax return preparation

Employment income, common income forms, standard deductions, and typical individual tax situations.

How it works

First, you briefly describe the situation. Then you prepare the documents, share them securely, and review the result before filing.

Documents are transmitted only through a secure method after the initial contact.

Common questions

Can W-2 and 1099 income be filed together?

Yes. W-2, 1099, and other income forms are reported within one individual return when they belong to the same taxpayer.

How do I choose a filing status?

Filing status depends on marital status, dependents, and the facts of the year. If there is uncertainty, it should be checked before calculating the return.

What if I had Marketplace health insurance?

Form 1095-A is required. A return with Marketplace coverage can be incorrect without it, especially if the advance premium tax credit was received.

What if I moved between states?

We review move dates, states of residence and work, state W-2 details, and remote-work facts. This may affect state returns.

Can the return be filed without my final confirmation?

No. Before filing, the client must have the opportunity to review the return and sign the required authorizations. A return is not filed without the client’s final confirmation.
